MidiableIn Design
The Ableton bridge.
Everything that connects the suite to Ableton Live, under one product: every song in a setlist exported as a standard .mid clip; a full .als Live Set generated offline from a show; and the two-way live mirror between Rundown and Live.
Status: designed, not yet built. What you read here is the approved design — no vaporware promises beyond it.
What it does
- MIDI-clip export works today: each setlist song becomes “NN Title.mid” — drag it into Live or any DAW.
- .als export builds a complete Live Set offline — tracks, clips, locators per song. No Ableton plugin, no Max, no runtime dependency.
- Live link: two-way mirror over IAC — Live session state in the UI, transport and scene launch back out.
- Plain .mid files on purpose: zero platform dependence, works in every DAW.

Plays well with
Standalone first: Midiable never needs another app installed. When siblings are present, they find each other on your LAN and follow the same show.
